Tau Naamah is a consecrated, autocephalous Bishop of the Universal Gnostic Tradition in the line of succession of the Neopythagorean Gnostic Church. She has been consecrated into the Old Catholic & Liberal Catholic, Eastern Orthodox (Jacobite), and Doinel/New Aeon lineages.

While my status as a bishop has absolutely no connection to the Ecclesia Gnostica Catholica of Ordo Templi Orientis, I do have formal links with this Order; I am not, however, an EGC bishop and this work is discrete. My Work has involved study in European and African Diasporic herblore, rootwork and hoodoo, and intiated study and practice into western hermeticism and ceremonial magick.  In addition, I am a student of Taiji and Qigong as well as more external martial arts, and I am a serviteur of the loa.  I began my training in yoga in childhood, having been raised by parents with membership in the Self-Realization Fellowship of Paramahansa Yogananda, and I began guided training in European witchcraft and herblore in 1984 after several abortive and immature attempts to practice it on my own through reading what limited material was available to me at the time.   My past practical magickal training and involvement has dealt with the Sumerian mythos and blood magick among other things.  I have extensive training and experience in divination with the Tarot in particular.
